Overview

AVScheduler is a browser-based program that helps you inventory and schedule deliveries for AV equipment.

Guest View & Reservation Manager View

When you first see your system's page, you are not logged in. This is the view that all Guests see. Guests can search through Activities to confirm scheduled deliveries and returns. Guests can also request equipment or services with the Make Request button.

Once a Reservation Manager logs in, new features are available, including the ability to make a Reservation, delete and edit Activities, edit Equipment, Patrons, and Locations, and generate Reports.

Requests, Reservations & Activities

Guests make Requests. A Reservation Manager receives those Requests and creates one or more Reservations accordingly.

Most Reservations have 2 Activities associated with them: 1 Delivery, and 1 Return. Typically, the Reservation Manager will schedule the Delivery to be 1 more Periods before the Period of actual use. Likewise, the Reservation Manager will schedule the Return to be 1 more Periods after the Period of actual use.

AVScheduler is divided into 6 main pages:

 Activity List 

The main page is the Activity List.  This page lists any Deliveries, Pickups, Tasks, and Events that you have scheduled for a given range of dates.

 New Reservation  (also  Edit Reservation )

AV equipment is reserved on the Reservation page.  Most reservations consist of a list of equipment that is delivered to a location at a specific time, then picked up and returned to your AV Center at a later time.

 Make Request  or  View Requests 

Guests have the ability to make Requests; Reservation Managers can see all the Requests that have come in and make Reservations accordingly.

 Search 

Returns search results. Both Guests and Reservation Managers can search through Patrons, Locations, Equipment, & Activities.

 Availability 

You can see what equipment is available in the Availability List

 Manage 

This page lets you list create and maintain Equipment, Patrons, and Locations, as well as set various System settings and generate Reports.
